Sara, a chemical engineering student at UCL, has a keen interest in sustainability and making the most of our limited resources. Beyond her academic studies, Sara is an engaged member of health forums, using her personal experiences of living with a long-term condition to help improve the hospital journeys of fellow patients. As well as that, she actively volunteers in her community, striving to enhance facilities and create more positive experiences for others in her area.

Using her research skills gained during her previous role as a peer researcher at the STEP study, Sara has taken on a new opportunity as a peer researcher in the CONNECT study. This has empowered her to continue making a positive impact on individuals from marginalized backgrounds. 

Through her various work in the community, Sara is actively contributing to initiatives that strive to bring about impactful change.
