CONNECT Photovoice exhibition
In February 2025, we held an exhibition event at the Africa Centre where we had the opportunity to share the wonderful photographs and zine created by community members in our Photovoice and zine-making workshops.

As part of the event, community members spoke with attendees about their photographs and experience of Photovoice, and participated in a panel discussion alongside CONNECT peer researchers and project partners. Community members and attendees also engaged in an interactive community mapping exercise and had the chance to hear about a report by Lambeth HEART, one of our project partners, evaluating Lambeth's Health and Wellbeing Hubs.

During the event, attendees participated in a community mapping exercise. Community mapping allows us to visually capture people's perceptions of their communities.
The exercise asked people to identify community resources, barriers and opportunities in their local areas. This encouraged people to think through what they feel would best help their communities thrive.

Mia Campbell and Emilio Patterson, King's College London students working as interns with Lambeth HEART, showcased their report investigating the Health and Wellbeing Hubs in Lambeth. The report aimed to evaluate the demographic diversity of hub attendees, assess the impact of the services on physical and mental wellbeing and identify strengths and areas for improvement in the services provided.
